# Spaces

> Manage bookable rooms and areas used by allocations and rates.

Spaces are the rooms or areas you allocate to events. Allocations reference a space via `space_id` (or the underlying `resource_id`).

Base path: `/api/v1/accounts/{account_id}/spaces`

## List spaces

Response includes a `spaces` array and optional catalogue metadata.

## Create a space

| `schedule` | Working hours when `working_hours_enabled` is true |
| `venue_id` / `parent_id` | Optional hierarchy |
